Prof Uduak Archibong [MBE]
Prof Uduak Archibong [MBE] is Professor of Diversity; Director, Centre for Inclusion and Diversity and Strategic Advisor for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion across the institution including institutional delivery of the gender equality plan which has recently been incorporated into the single equality strategy and action plan.
In addition to managing the University's Equality and Diversity Unit, she has led to completion numerous large-scale projects on diversity competent leadership development, representational diversity and inclusive workplaces including a recently completed EC funded collaborative research on Positive Action Measures in the EU, Canada, United States and South Africa (PAMECUS).
Prof Archibong has published extensively on inclusion and diversity. She is on the editorial board of a number of academic journals and champions equality and diversity at every opportunity. She is the Guest Editor of a recently published Special Issue of the Journal of Psychological issues in Organisational Culture entitled 'Reframing Diversity Interventions in Austere times'
Dr Anita Sargeant
Dr Anita Sargeant is the Head of Division of Allied Health Professions and lead for continuing professional development across the School of Health Studies.
Her research is in the areas of end of life care, gender equality, LGBT issues, service user involvement and service evaluation.
Prof Nazira Karodia
Nazira Karodia is Associate Dean in Student Recruitment and Regional Director of the National HE Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics where she has responsibility for leading managing and delivering this innovative programme across the region.
Prof Peter Hopkinson
Prof Peter Hopkinson is Professor and Director of the University's Re:Centre within the School of Management and for 5 years was a strategic lead on the Institutional Change Management Programme for Sustainable Development, Ecoversity.
Having initiated a change academy process at the start of Ecoversity to bring a team together to shape a complex change agenda across the University, Peter has subsequently advised the Higher Education Academy (HEA) on the set up and delivery of a sector wide Green Change Academy process which is currently running with 8 UK higher education institutions.
Jeremy Bulmer is a Human Resource Advisor. He co-presents the New Staff Induction and Performance Review training modules and is part of the University's Facilitator's Network.
Prof M Crina A Oltean-Dumbrava
M Crina A Oltean-Dumbrava is an international, multi-lingual, career researcher and academic with 97 journal and conference publications, awarded 40 research and teaching grants; and is a visiting professor of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
She has taught students in seven countries and is an External Expert Evaluator for the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research, the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and EU Framework Programmes.
Dr Oltean-Dumbrava is the Convenor of Task Group 4 Sustainability which forms part of CEN/TC 226/WG6. In the UK, she is a member of the Joint Board of Moderators' Accreditation Visiting Panel, Past Chair of the Association of Civil Engineering Departments, and has been nominated as a BSI expert and Committee member of ISO and CEN/TC 226/WG6 Road Traffic Noise Reducing Devices.
In the University, she is Chair of the Standing Committee of Assembly and a member of Senate.
Dr. Nayyara Tabassum - Research Fellow
Research Interests: My research interests focus primarily on gender in science, medicine and health research, women’s work/careers, gender stereotypes in STEM and social science research in health care settings.
